I live in a magical world where my forest is surrounded by skyscrapers, hot dog venders and the unfortunate zombie-like creatures called tourists. Where I reside bullets are confused with fireworks and at night what comes out aren’t vampires but hookers. I’m a redheaded Puerto Rican with an overactive imagination.

I have a cupcake named muffin. A purple rocketship for my stars, a ginger eating an octopus and two bipolar clouds that scowl as much as my skull and crossbones. I ♥ vampires, werewolves, zombies, dinosaurs, the fae, robots, social networks, museums, photographs, music, hello kitty, my iPhone 4S named Bones, and my Nook Color named Zsadist.

Radiant as the Sun

Late night mall rats.

Destinie and I have a little habit of hitting up The Palisades Mall pretty late at random nights. Either I’ll text her and ask her if she wants to hang and either we go to the mall or go straight over to Walmart. Usually we don’t even buy anything but if we hit the mall we always go to Dave & Buster’s for their Mountain o’ Nachos. Last night was not an exception.

Yesterday I took care of my Dad while my mom went with her best friend and her best friend’s family to the city. Since my Mom never goes out on her own I wanted her to have a good time and after all the things I had to do for my dad… and dealing with my dad’s attitude. I don’t know how my mom does it every single day, bless her heart. She really is the most amazing woman I know. When she finally got back to their apartment she was cold but happy. Destinie and the boys were waiting for me downstairs so I didn’t stay too long to hear about her day (but she did tell me afterwards).

A car full of guys? It’s like a car full of girls. Sorry, lol. The shit they talk about had Destinie and I looking at each other like “o_O”. When we got to the mall we made it a point to tell them they went their way and we went ours until it was time to eat. They… followed us. LOL. After a few tries we lost them in Forever 21 while we hunted for some clothes.

But they eventually found us again.
